Well, I didn't even make the top 50 . . . I'm wondering how much that has to do with the fact I filmed this with a Canon? I mean, I thought I'd at least make top 50! Dang.

In the rules they said, you can film this with any kind of camera but you'll be judged on quality. But then when I submitted the video they require you to tell them what camera you did use.

I have no problem if Nikon wants to keep it only videos that are filmed with Nikon cameras, just tell us that.

I am going to post the full HD version on vimeo when I get home from the holidays and replace the one here with that one.

Thanks for watching everyone.

Hey Lucas,

I really like the video. The bit with the camp counselor is really good and the flight shots are amazing. I'll be sure to vote for you since I am a celebrity.

I liked the idea of telling a story, everyone loves a good story. The touch of details: transition of the opening the refrig door to the photo still shot, the dogs running up to the landing, the flight between cloud layers all add to the picture story and the sound track plays well with the flim and your dialogue story. Your vision is on target. Hey, the hand flight example was an excellant touch to allow the viewer a way to experience the feeling of flight. A very simple way, to create a lasting memory of your film. Obviously, a personal life experience, keep using things like that to tell your stories. Congratulations !! Excellant work.
