About Me

Hi everyone!

Thanks for visiting my website, my name is Lucas Ridley and I’m 25 years old.

I’m originally from Bowling Green, KY, I received a degree in Forestry at Sewanee: The University of the South, and now I’m pursuing hang gliding and free-lance video, motion graphic, and photography work outside the great city of Chattanooga, TN.

I’m constantly learning new techniques and improving my skill set and I’ve currently won 3 video contests, starting with the most recent:

• HP You on You
• EPA Watershed PSA
• Excedrin Express Gels
• Lipton Ice Tea (I placed third)  

Another big accomplishment was being a Top 10 finalist in the Stella Artois Short Film contest, with my film titled “A Soaring Life.”

WORK

I am currently available for work in several arenas, whether it is a corporate or wedding video, tv or internet advertising campaign, photography (personal and business), and motion graphics. I am also interested in documentary film, see my most recent documentary HERE.

My photography has been published in the National Hang Gliding Magazine and in VIP Magazine, I have been featured on the home page of Youtube twice and my videos on Youtube have currently garnered over a half a million views.
