Kung Fu Crackin | Wonderful Pistachios

This is my entry into the Wonderful Pistachios Contest. Judges pick a top 10, then there is public voting on those ten starting on this coming Monday (30th) and continues until Dec. 13th.

This has to be one of the goofiest things I’ve ever made. I went this route because the judges pick the Top 10 with the category of Humor comprising 45% of the score for a video. My original idea was going to have some special fx, but it wasn’t going to be funny, so I changed it up.

I bought a Santa Claus wig and beard, cut it up a bit, then latexed it on for a mustache and goatee. Thanks to Eric W. for doing the follow focus on two shots.

I still have several projects in the mill, one of which is the Nikon 140 second video contest. I’ve already been filming for it and am really looking forward to completing the idea I have, I think it will be a good one. I plan on shooting the whole thing on the 7D (this Kung Fu video was shot on the 7D too).
