“A Leg to Fly On” was created by me for the LG Film Fest. Tip was nice enough to let me bug him for a couple days during the TN Treetoppers Team Challenge event so that I could create this short film. He is a very interesting guy and fun to be around. I hope you enjoy the film.
Below is a little more detail on the contest this is in:
They have 4 categories of entries: Sports, Animation, Music/Fashion, and Narrative – this one is in Sports. Each category winner, choosen by celebrity judges (like Jamie Foxx), will receive a prize of $10,000, except for one of the category winners. One of the four category winners will be deemed the best overall, in addition to winning their category, and they will receive $100,000.
So I’ve emailed the contest people about my film “A Leg To Fly On,” because it isn’t showing up on their updated youtube page or their website (lgfilmfest.com).
I don’t know what is going on. On their youtube page they have a top 12 category, but in their rules they never mention anything about that.
Also, all of the entries are very good quality. One I noticed is like a year or two old that a student from Vancouver Film School made, obviously not for this contest.
If I figure out what is going on, I’ll repost about it. But right now it looks like they gave my film the shaft.
Hello, just wanted you to know I have saved your blog to my bookmarks because of your beautiful blog layout (LOL). But honestly, I think your blog has one of the cleanest theme I’ve seen yet. It really makes your blog post easier to read.
I made a film for a project and i was wondering what program you used?
@H Clark – I used Adobe Premiere Pro and then I color graded it with Magic Bullet Looks. Good luck with your project.
