Nautilus

This Lead position was the highest leadership role in the VFX animation department. I oversaw delivery of around 250 shots ranging from creatures, vehicles, and props all keyframed. I managed a team that grew to 10 animators. I worked directly with VFX and CG supervisors and wore many hats on this production, ran animation dailies, cast shots, managed shotgrid, re-bid one sequence, wrote a few tools, and adapted to a new evolving pipeline (USD) mid-show where I was involved in its steering discussions.
